Alessandro Juliani Bio

Alessandro Juliani is a Canadian actor best known for his Felix Gaeta on the SYFY science fiction series Battlestar Galactica and for his role Emil Hamilton on the CW teen superhero series Smallville.

Alessandro Juliani was born on April 3, 1978 in Montréal, Québec, Canada.  His father John Juliani was a producer and actor, his mother Donna Wong Juliani is the co-founded of Savage God and Opera Breve.  Alessandro studied at the McGill University where he graduated with a Bachelor degree in Music, Vocal/Opera Performance.  He made his TV debut in 1989 on the action series MacGyver.

In 2003 Alessandro was cast as a recurring character on the SYFY science fiction series Battlestar Galactica as Felix Gaeta a lieutenant onboard the Battlestar Galactica who idolises the scientist Gaius Baltar. 

Alessandro in 2009 was cast as a recurring character on the CW teen superhero series Smallville as Emil Hamilton a scientist who recruited to help the justice league after saving the life of the Martian Manhunter.
