Barbara Carrera is a Nicaraguan born actress best known for her role Fatima Blush on the James Bond movie Never Say Never Again and for her role Angelica Nero on the soap opera series Dallas.
Barbara Carrera was born on December 31, 1945 in Bluefields, Nicaragua. Her father was an employee of the US embassy in Nicaragua. At the age of ten Barbara moved to American and she began modelling at 17 for Eileen Ford agency.
Barbara made her movie debut in the 1970 movie Puzzle of a Downfall. She had a prominent role in the 1978 mini series Centennial and in the 1981 mini series The Antagonists.
Barbara has appeared in several prominent movie including 007 movie series Never Say Never Again in 1983 as Fatima Blush a SPECTRE agent with hatred for men who tried to seduce and kill James Bond. For her role Fatima Blush, Barbara was nominated for a Golden Globe award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture.
In 1985 Barbara was cast as a recurring character on the soap opera Dallas as Angelica Nero an a businesswoman who dangerously tangles with JR.
