Devon Werkheiser is an American actor best known for his role Ned Bigby on the Nickelodeon sitcom Ned Declassified School Survival Guide and for his role Peter Parkes on the ABC family comedy Greek.
Devon Werkheiser was born on March 8, 1991 in Atlanta, Georgia and was raised in Johns Creek. His father worked as a commercial real estate executive and his mother was a stay at home mum. He has an older sister Vanessa.
When Devon began doing impressions of Jim Carrey his parents enrolled him in acting classes at Atlanta community children theatre at the Talent Factory which lead to his movie debut in the 2002 movie We Were Soldiers as Steve Moore the son of Hal Moore who was portrayed by Mel Gibson. Devon along with his mother moved to LA so her son could pursue an acting career.
Devon Werkheiser received his first big break in 2004 when he was cast as the lead character on the Nickelodeon sitcom Ned Declassified School Survival Guide as Ned Bigby a smart but lazy student who writes in his school survival guide after learning important lesson.
Devon Werkheiser landed the lead role on the movie Shredderman Rules as Nolan Byrd a high school kid who begins documenting injustice at his school and posting them on the internet and Devon had a recurring role on the ABC family drama Greek as Peter Parkes a nerdy kid who trying to become pledge brother and is helped by the lead character Rusty Cartwright.
Devon Werkheiser dating actress and co-star Lindsey Shaw but the couple broke up in 2009.
