Drew Van Acker Bio

Drew Van Acker is an American actor best known for his role Ian Archer on the Cartoon Network teen action series Tower Prep and for his role Jason Dilaurentis on the ABC family drama Pretty Little Liar.

Drew Van Acker was born on 2 April 1986 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania but lived in Medford, New Jersey. Drew was interested in sports and acting at an early age. He played for his school football team and the lacrosse teams which lead to a football scholarship to Towson University. While studying at University he took theatre acting course.

Drew soon became a TV actor appearing on the ABC crime series Castle and on the ABC family teen drama Greek. He also had a recurring on the Warner Bros online web series The Lake.

Drew received his major break in 2010 when he was cast on the Cartoon Network teen action series Tower Prep as Ian Archer a young teenager who wakes up at the mysterious school Tower Prep where he unable to contact his parents decided to find a way to escape from school along with his new friends.

After the cancellation of Tower Prep, Drew was cast as a recurring character on the ABC family teen drama Pretty Little Liar replacing the previous actor Parker Bagley. Drew portrayed Jason Dilaurentis the elder brother of the murdered girl Alison DiLaurentis who worried he might have been behind his sister death since he has no memory of the night she died.
