Kate Mara was born on February 27, 1983 in Bedford, New York. She made her debut in 1997 on the TV series Law & Order. She had a brief recurring role in 2003 on the TV series Nip Tuck as Vanessa Bartholomew the girlfriend of Matt who convinced her boyfriend to have a threesome since she is a lesbian.
In 2005 Kate had a recurring role on the TV series Jack & Bobby as Katie the former girlfriend of the lead character Jack. Kate also had a brief recurring role on the TV series 24 as Shari Rothenberg a CTU analyst trying to apprehend the terrorist Vladimir Bierko from releasing a dangerous gas.
In 2009 Kate had a recurring role on the TV series Entourage as Brittany the new assistant of Eric working at Murray Berenson Talent Management Company where she has problems with her co-workers and her boss girlfriend.
