Leslie
Hope is a Canadian actress best known for her role Teri Bauer on the TV series
24 and for her role Lisa Cohen on the TV series Line of Fire.
Leslie
Hope was born on May 6, 1965 in Halifax,
Nova Scotia, Canada. She made her on screen debut on the 1981
movie Up and Down. Leslie first
recurring role was on the soap opera Berrenger as Cammie Springe the store
clerk of a glamorous department store followed by a brief recurring role on the
soap opera Knots Landing.
Leslie
went on to appear on the holocaust TV mini series War and Remembrance as Madeleine Henry. Leslie received celebrity status in 2001 when
she was cast as one of the main character on the TV series 24 as Teri Bauer a recently
reconcile wife who abducted along with her daughter to be used as leverage against
her husband to murder a president candidate.
Leslie character was killed off at the end of the first season.
Leslie
also a prominent guest starring role on the TV series Star Trek Deep Space Nine
as Kira Meru a mother who forced to abandon her family and become the mistress of
a prominent leader occupying her people.
In 2003
Leslie was cast as one of the main character on the TV series Line of Fire as Lisa
Cohen the head of the FBI unit and in 2005 Leslie appeared as a main character on
the TV series Runaway as Lily Rader the wife of a family on the run after her
husband convicted of a crime he didn’t committed. Leslie also had a prominent recurring guest
role on the TV series Commander in Chief and Mentalist.
