Sasha Pieterse Bio

Sasha Pieterse is a South African born actress best known for her role Alison DiLaurentis on the ABC family drama Pretty Little Liars and for her role Buffy Davis on the TV series Family Affair.

Sasha Pieterse was born on February 17, 1996 in Johannesburg, South Africa but was raised in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. Her parents were professional dance partners who performed all over the world. Sasha loved being on stages with her parents which lead her to become an actress. At the of six she made her TV debut in 2002 as a recurring character on the TV series Family Affair.

Sasha went on to have a recurring role on the NBC science fiction series Heroes as Amanda Strazzulla the daughter of one of Samuel followers Lydia before she was cast as a recurring character on the ABC family teen drama Pretty Little Liars as Alison DiLaurentis a young girl who died knowing all her friend secrets.

Despite her character been dead from pilot episode Sasha continued to portray Alison in flashback and the mystery surrounding her death continues being a pivotal storyline.
