Steve Schirripa was born on September 3, 1957 in Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York. He made his movie debut in the 1995 movie Casino.

Steven in 2008 was cast as a recurring character on the Mafia HBO drama Sopranos as Bobby Baccalieri the husband of Janice Soprano and the brother in law of the main character Tony Soprano. Also in 2008 Steven was cast as a main character on the ABC teen drama Secret Life of the American Teenager as Leo Boykewich a self made millionaire and father of the main Ben Boykewich.

Steve Schirripa also had a prominent role on the TV series Brothers and Call Me Fitz.
